Participant Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that the Golgotha Challenge is a voluntary, self-directed opportunity to grow physically and spiritually. I understand that participation involves strenuous physical activity and carries inherent risks, including injury or death. I acknowledge that FCA does not supervise or monitor participants, provide coaching, medical, safety, or fitness guidance, organize this challenge as a supervised or insured event, or provide insurance or other coverage. I am solely responsible for determining whether I am physically and medically able to participate and for exercising safely, whether participating alone or with others. Any participation by others occurs entirely at their own risk.
I understand that FCA collects registration information solely to gauge impact and interest in similar initiatives, and to connect participants with local FCA staff. Registration does not create a supervised program, event relationship, or any duty of care by FCA. By registering, downloading, sharing, or participating in this challenge — individually or with any group or other persons — I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks and agree that FCA and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising out of or related to participation, including claims arising from negligence. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless FCA and its officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation or the participation of any person with whom I choose to engage in this Challenge.
